So, how do we create our content? We are closely aligned with One WBU and the WBU Marketing Plan. Using this as our monthly starting point we design content… no magic tricks, just honest content that reps your store and resonates with your customers.
We use WBU Brand Manager content and our own collection and sourcing of wild bird images and educational content. Our original customized content is localized to your store’s seasons, birds and community. It’s content that’s not just pretty, but performs.
About
Henson & Ohio School of Falconry
My story begins over 15 years ago in the picturesque village of Galisteo, New Mexico. Little did I know that my adobe home on the Bosque was situated along the major migration route in the state.
Determined to learn more about the many hummingbirds in my backyard, a visit to the Santa Fe Wild Birds Unlimited introduced me to Black-chinned Hummingbirds. Armed with a hummingbird feeder, nectar bottle, bag of sugar and a copy of "Birds of New Mexico," the journey of a lifetime began.
Each new bird sighting became an opportunity to explore, and every question led me to the knowledgeable staff at WBU. In just a year my backyard transformed into a bird habitat with three pole systems, every type of feeder imaginable and a bird bath.
The year of 2020 brought unexpected changes, with a lost job leading to a serendipitous opportunity. In the interim, I joined the WBU store in Savannah as a Sales Associate, finding inspiration within the birding community and the family-like store environment. This experience not only deepened my understanding of WBU’s products but also instilled a profound appreciation for exceptional customer service.
With extensive education and experience in marketing, I took on the challenge of enhancing the digital presence of WBU Savannah, eventually expanding to my working with 18 stores across the United States.
From California to Georgia and back to Ohio, where it all began, my journey has been marked by a genuine love for what I do. The fusion of passion for wild birds, backyard bird feeding, and the top-notch products offered by WBU propels my work to create marketing excellence for the stores I support.
